I like to read fiction from time to time, so I happily launched into an audiobook reading of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo because it has been highly touted by so many. I will give Mr. Larsson this, the book is well written, the story is compelling, and the characters rather convincing. However, from a Christian point of view, this was just a little too graphic for me. The story depicts multiple sexual encounters, and most disturbingly, rape. I really enjoyed the overall flow and mystery of the story, but won’t be recommending that anyone else read it.
Verdict: Well written book, compelling story, disturbing content. Not recommended.
