I stumbled across this book on theresurgence.com while trying to study for a message about preaching the gospel to yourself. Let me just say, this is a wonderful resource. Fight Clubs is only 56 pages long, extremely accessible to a wide variety of readers, and absolutely useful for churches and individuals looking to teach about gospel-centeredness. This is the resource I’ve been looking for; it takes big concepts and makes them easy to grasp. Highly recommended!

Mark Driscoll is one of my favorite preachers / writers / pastors these days. He’s very informed, relevant, and straight forward. If you didn’t know, Driscoll is the pastor of a church in Seattle known as Mars Hill. He’s written several books and recently launched a new website: theresurgence.com. The Resurgence is filled with helpful resources, books, interviews, videos, etc.
I discovered the above resource the other night and thought it was really good. You should check it out, read it, and direct other men you know to this resource. This is as straight forward as it gets by the way.
